In many ways, the "church experience" has become complicated in the 21st century. Huge campuses, elaborate productions and an overwhelming menu of programs can be . . . well . . . overwhelming! The word "Simple" in our name reflects our desire to focus on the Simple truth of the Gospel; that God loves us, sent His Son Jesus to die and rise again to save us, and His Holy Spirit to guide us.
It also reflects our "simple" vision to do our best, with God's help, to follow the example of the church in the book of Acts by:
- Stirring souls
- Saving the lost
- Sharing in ministry
- Serving in one accord
- Worshiping and praising the Lord daily.
Why "Simple"? We believe that keeping our focus on the Simplicity of the Gospel message and the authority of God's word helps us to always exalt Christ, and never ourselves. Simple!
